If people would start helping the homeless and demand they get accepted for jobs, the danger level in the country's cities would plummet. Homelessness is one of the biggest problems in America. Most say it is possible to end homelessness, but adding up all the facts, homelessness is nearly impossible to end. That homelessness will never end until everyone sticks together. Homelessness continues to be a major problem due to the large rise in prices of illegal drugs, and the lack of jobs that will allow homeless people. “A study shows that 38% of homeless people abuse alcohol, while 26% abuse drugs. That’s more than 64% of homeless people being homeless due to some type of addiction” (Press). A survey of 24 U.S. cities found that 15% of homeless …show more content…
