On September 13th, 2015, there were two women who stormed in an Islamic Conference stage with the message translated into English as "No one makes me submit" written on their bodies. It happened in France, and the women were later removed from the stage and escorted out of the building. The identity of the two female was never released. It’s 2016 now, and many others still misunderstand the goal of feminism these days. The Present thought indicates that generally women do not have equal rights as men, therefore a minor group of women have been protesting around the world in fighting for equality, and this is what feminism is all about.

Socialist feminism calls for an end to capitalism through a socialist reformation of our economy. In other words, they believe that men are paid way more than women are and the only way this can be changed is by erasing capitalism off the map, which seems quite impossible. Their reason as to why capitalism should be eliminated is simply because it supports sexism by giving men the most and meaningful power and rights, such as money. Although they are quite extreme, “socialists” feminism tend to deliver their message through political and economic ways and views. This type of feminists are mostly politicians who believe that gender roles need to be abolished, and females should be paid more as men are. They believe that society in the western world rewards the working men because valuable goods, whereas women’s hard work aren’t been valued by the western world. Socialists rejects the whole idea of biology predetermining one's gender and social roles are not inherent in which women’s social status must change in today’s communities. They also believe that women cannot achieve equality under capitalism, while socialism on the other hand cannot be attained without the hard work and participation of poor women who struggled to win equality when it comes to equal pay and the only way of doing that is by letting women work side by side men in the political spheres. Yes, these are the anti-men specialists which of course makes them the most known group out of all the others. In fact, the majority of people are only aware of this set of feminists since they are making the headlines quite frequently nowadays, which is pretty pitiful. The systematic oppression of men and their rights is thoroughly found in Radical feminist. They are the one and only type of feminists that actually gives a bad name to true actual motivated feminists who are fighting for equality for all regardless gender. Feminism surely wouldn't have been looked at in this negative way if there weren't some of these crazy radical females that continuously threatens the existence of men which of course makes every other feminist out there inferior. Radical Feminism is the movement that aims hate speech in executing the rights of men and non-feminist women. They mostly use ‘Patriarchy’ as an excuse for why men’s lives are so pathetic and unfulfilled. Patriarchy can come in many forms, for example it favors men’s benefits such as the father is always the head of the family, wives taking the last names of their husbands, women not allowed in certain military units, parents and brothers protecting their daughters and younger sisters from guys, but not their sons and younger brothers from girls, and the list goes on.
