This distinguished quote solely states that individuality in our life choices can annihilate you or strengthen you in the near future. Eric Butterworth’s work was based on unity pleasure, attentive on the divinity of all people, allowing our experiences to better us in an opinionated society of inequality of discrimination and prejudice actions. A divine American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer and philanthropist named Oprah Winfery once said that one must “Turn your wounds into wisdom”. As a young scholar, I know the adrenaline rush feeling when recieving final exam grades that can determine our weekend. When most persons experience the feeling of an unsatisfactory grade, they tend to be distressed and bitter, blaming everyone and everything other than themselves. Contrariwise, some students optimistically better themselves and plan to be greater in the near future. An influential Spanish teacher, role model and leader named Señora Denise Ali-Gibson once said “You cannot be upset by the results you did not get, from the work you did not do”. This astounding quote has inspired others and myself not to bitter ourselves on what we thought we knew, but to better ourselves on what is to be known. “Every coin has two sides”, so as to bettering or bittering ourselves based on the result of an experience, it is a flip of a coin in life. In reference to death, the experience in losing a beloved person permits bitterness to be drawn deeply within us, surrounding us in a depressing atmosphere that takes healing time to get better.
