When Oprah Winfrey was growing up she had it rough. At the age of 14 Oprah got pregnant. She didn’t know what and how to take care of a baby. Oprah’s mother was so poor they barely had any money to support Oprah herself. Oprah had to wear potato sacks as a dress to school everyday. When Oprah had her kid, the baby died prematurely. As Oprah got older she had made essays and debates to improve our world and society in her school. When Oprah was in school, Oprah’s teachers were very impressed how she has written and talked about her speeches and debates in front of the whole class. Oprah knew she wanted to do a broadcast of her own, or have her own show when she was older. Her dreams came true. Oprah’s quote, “It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from. The ability to triumph begins with you. Always.” Oprah Winfrey is trying to say to people it’s ok to mess up in life. Failures can try again and be successful the second time around. It doesn’t matter who or what you are it only matters how hard you can try, and the success that you can achieve. It might be hard, but giving up is not an option, pushing yourself will bring you to the best. The more effort you can put into it, and the more you can achieve, you will become a better person. Oprah has told this to her fans and people who have watched her show “ The Oprah Winfrey Show”, and all of her other shows she has been televised. Some people take her inspiration and inspire other people who are in the same shoes that Oprah has been through in her past when she was growing up.
