Oprah Winfrey is a household name across the world thanks to her popular talk show “Oprah Winfrey Show”. Born on January 29, 1954, in Kosciusko, a small farming village in Mississippi, Oprah would not have thought that a young black girl could grow to be a world influencer leave alone a successful talk show host. However, she discovered she was a talented orator at a very tender age. She used her talent in her local church by sharing the world of the lord with the congregants. Her determination to succeed became evident when she won a full scholarship to Tennessee State University and graduated in 1973. This was the beginning of her television carrier.
