Oprah Gail Winfrey was born on January 29, 1954 in the city of Kosciusko, Mississippi in the United States. Winfrey came from a lower class family, being raised by just her mother in the city of Milwaukee, where she grew up throughout her childhood ( britannica ). A few months after Oprah Gail Winfrey was born, her mother abandoned her to be about to travel, her grandmother, Hatti Mae Le raised her as her own daughter after her mother’s absences. Throughout her childhood, she lived in a terrible environment, but thanks to her grandmother she was able to become the women she is today, she taught her how to read and write. According to my research she is known to be a billionaire since she was 49, by being a great communicator and enterinatnor (britannica). She is best known for her talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated television program of its kind in history. The Oprah Winfrey Show, On the Oprah Winfrey Show she invites guest to her show to talk about their inspiration stories about their life. She advise them about making good decisions and the right choice. Winfrey influences many women, this makes her the great women she is now. I believe that this has to do with her attitude that she has today. By the struggles she went through, she gained experience to develop a positive attitude. She was able to change her life around, this television show has helped her get her voice out to the world and help many women who are facing the same thing as she did. I believe that this is a great accomplishment that she achieved and was able to share her stories to her audience about her childhood when she was growing up. Beside the Oprah show and her life for books, she was also a great actress. She was in many great movies and television shows, such as the Color Purple and The Women of Brewster Place
