Oreo and Keebler have been competing against each other for several decades. These brands use commercials as their hooks when trying to win over each other’s customers. They try to appeal to the customer’s emotions and sense of credibility when promoting each product. In the Oreo commercial the singer, Owl City sings a song about sharing Oreos with friends. In the Keebler commercial it shows two sisters coming home from school and they have to share a Keebler cookie. Logos represents your appeal to logic and reasoning. In the Oreo commercial logos was used to persuade readers to believe that if they give an Oreo to someone, something good will happen in return. They use logos to represent the feeling of acceptance and kindness and that if you give someone an Oreo they will act kind towards you. They want people to believe that Oreos are a sign of friendship and care towards one another. In the Keebler commercial logos is used when the little girl gives her sister the last cookie, and the elf brings her another one. Logos is represented that if you do good things towards others, good things will happen to you. By giving the last Keebler cookie to the little girls sister it makes one think that a cookie will bring the best out of people. Those cookies represent care for others and by eating a Keebler cookie it will push you to always do the right things for others. In both the Oreo and Keebler cookie commercials logos is shown through kindness, giving people who eat the cookie a sense of morals and love for others. While Oreos represents sharing a cookie with anyone, Keebler shows the significance in
