Everglades National Park is one of the largest and most-well known national parks in the United States. Today June 19th 1865, the events at Owl Creek Bridge are proof that the North is unwilling to take separation as an answer. A man named Peyton Farquhar shot at the Northern soldiers. This man from the South somehow knew about our Union encampment. “He fired on our soldiers,”said an unnamed army Captian. “We caught him near our encampment at Owl Creek Bridge,”he said.
This message is of urgency. You are in grave danger Mr. Farquhar, do not travel to Owl Creek Bridge tonight. Your life depends on it. First of all, the gray-clad soldier that just visited your land is a Federal scout.

The river is being restored in 4 construction phases. The Core of Engineers (COE) and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) work closely using adaptive management strategies to ensure the restoration meets its goals. Scientific data indicates that restoration is meeting or exceeding the expectations set up at the beginning of the

The Florida Everglades is the third-largest national park out of the 48 states. It is also the first national park created to protect the fragile ecosystem. Without the protection of the alliga-tors and thus the ecosystem area we know as the everglades could eventually become nonexist-ent. At one time “this wetland was called the river of grass by an author back in 1947” (Strawn 17).
However the Glen Echo Amusement Park did not allow Clifton Davis to accompany his white friends, on a class trip to the theme park because of his skin color. The Glen Echo Amusement Park policy to exclude people of color is unjust because it is violating the constitution and it is prejudice. First of all the Glen Echo Amusement park policy is unjust because it is taking away the right of freedom from Clifton Davis. The Lincoln, “Gettysburg Address”, speech states that “...that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and the government of the people , by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.”(Lincoln,1863).
