1. Explain why the spokepersons of organized religions should or should not speak out on globalization and major socioeconomic issues.
When one thinks of globalization and major socioeconomic issues he or she should automatically think of the following words: peace and solutions. Why? Think about it: It is evident that world can be a difficult place to live in at times. For that reason, promoting peace and implementing solutions to solve major world issues is pivotal and this begins at home. In other words, from a domestic perspective, all citizens living in the United States should be aware of the pros and cons of globalization and of the major socioeconomic issues that affects society.
Spokespersons of organized religions should speak out on globalization and major socioeconomic issues. Globalization brings nations together. In addition, it can be claimed that this position does not contradict the constitutional principle of the separation of Church and state, mainly because as citizens of our respective society, our participation in the political process a moral obligation and a pivotal civic duty.
