What are human beings? Are we just another species in the animal kingdom or somehow set apart from the rest of our fellow earthlings? Are we special? Human being is defined as a man, woman or child of the species Homo Sapiens, distinguished from other animals by the superior mental development, power of articulate speech, and upright stance. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
In theory, extraterrestrials manipulated the DNA of the ancient hominids to create homo sapiens. Ancient astronaut theorist argue that the gene protein FOXP2, which

In 2004 researchers found human genes that control the size and complexity of the brain have undergone rapid evolution in humans and that mammals and other non-human primates had not evolved in this manner. Homo erectus were the first of the hominins to emigrate from Africa and from 1.8 to 1.3 million years ago, this species spread through Africa. The homo sapien (humans) originated in Africa during the last 250,000 years and spread from Africa during the last 60,000 years. Neanderthals are of the homogeneous species and are not human ancestors. Although, the difference between humans and Neanderthals when compared to great apes is small.
Neanderthals lived in Europe and Asia from over 200,000 years ago to less than 30,000 years ago.
Humans have diverged from our closest extant relative, the chimpanzee, as many as seven million years ago. The theory of evolution or interbreeding with primates is pretty much

At least that the story we tell to help us sleep at night. We as humans are capable of shocking acts of inhumanity like rape, murder and torture. We have struggled to understand how such an advanced being can do these things. Even in our everyday behavior, we are competitive, aggressive and selfish when clearly the ideals of life are to be the complete opposite, namely cooperative, loving and selfless. Are we really that different from the other animals on this planet? Survival of the fittest right? After all we are the species that beat out all
