Oscar Pistorius is being known to be a famous paralympic athlete. In March 2014, Pistorius is accused to murder his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. But, he has been cleared of murder charges but convicted of culpable homicide. By the way media are presenting the verdict of the accusation of the murder of Reeva; they’re convoking that viewer’s to believe that the victim is Pistorius. The media are showing that Pistorius is the victim, because he had reasons to kill the intruder that was in his house. He has being sentence in jail for five years for killing his girlfriend through his bathroom door. But, Pistorius could be out of jail in just ten months for shooting his girlfriend (Thornton, Flanagan). Courts in the United States should not allowed people to get out of jail to does who have committed a crime of murder. The murder of the model Reeva has impacted her family and friends. They are sad for the loosing of Reeva and, because there are missing a true friend that worth a lot for them. Many of their family and friends believe he should be sentenced longer than five years. For example, Reeva’s cousin Kim Martin said: “I believe the sentence should be longer.”(Thornton, Flanagan). There were possible reasons for the actions Pistorius committed the crime. For instance, June Steenkamp told the Sunday Times of London magazine that her daughter "was scared to take the relationship to that level" and had avoided getting physical with the Paralympian known as the Blade Runner (Harding ,Goldstein) . Furthermore, the mother added that their relationship was getting to an end. However, Pistorius is going to be remembering in the media because he has to deal with his issue of being a disable man. But, the court will be allowed to help him to at least have his prosthetic legs, but he may be forced to hand them over to staff at
