Oshkosh Corporation is an international manufacturer and marketer of heavy-duty trucks, fire and emergency vehicles, defense transporters, and access equipment. The company was established in 1917 as the Wisconsin Duplex Auto Company. Soon after its founding, the company launched its first truck, affectionately known today as the ‘Old Betsy.' In 1918, the company relocated to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where in 1930 it incorporated and changed its name to the Oshkosh Motor Truck Manufacturing Company (“Oshkosh Truck Corporation History”, 1993). From 1930 through the 1980’s, the company focused on the production of its Oshkosh brand heavy-duty trucks. In the 1990’s the company experienced meteoric growth and by 1999, Oshkosh Corporation was recognized
