William Shakespeare’s tragic play, Othello, is very similar to many of his plays. Several of Shakespeare’s plays are overloaded with love which usually end with death of the lovers. Throughout the majority of the play love is interwoven; however, Shakespeare shows just how powerful love can truly be. The characters effected but this strong force are: Emilia, Desdemona, Iago and Othello. Love is the motivating force following each character’s action found within the play.
