The armies were slowly on the move, peace exploded into cheers and music although that wouldn't last for long. In August 1914 Europe countries marched into war with joy; Europe was on a bringe of war, a world to end all wars, it started due to envy and haterd between countries enthusiasm was reborn. The Germans went to the war heads high and hopes up civilans were worried by the departure of the allies The United Kingdam and Russia, however Wilhem II claimed the great tactican Schileffen, would save the day and be Germany's hero. Schlieffen plan was to attack France through Belguim, claim France and its capital Paris and go back to the east and fight of the Russians. In the eyes of Schlieffen this was a huge succes. Schlieffen was quick to react, on the morning of August the 4th 1914 the German army crossed the border into neutral Belguim in hopes of attacking the French with the elemnt of suprise through the Belguim trains however, the Belgians decided to fight back they had few weapons and only a 150,000 men the German army was the strong

The Germans had a secret weapon in there desposial "Big bertha" the world's largest cannon, although losing the bravery of the Belgians had slowed down the German army.
