1. Outline the sacraments of healing
There are 2 sacraments of healing that consist of Reconciliation and the Anointing of the sick. The sacrament of Reconciliation is where the priest forgives an individual for their sins through God's mercy and love. Reconciliation gives the opportunity of being truthful and admitting sins to God to then improve and live a more spiritual life through the forgiveness of God. This strengthens the bond with God and can improve one’s lifestyle as they are restored with God's mercy. There are 3 rites in this sacrament which helps provided spiritual healing as the guilt of sin is lifted and they can now improve themselves and fulfil a lifestyle of peace.

These Sacraments have played an important role throughout history and have grown to become a catholic tradition as the rituals and practices that are used in receiving these sacraments have been around since Jesus used them to heal. There are three rites of reconciliation. The first rite is confessing your sins to a priest in private, which gives adherents the comfort of God’s presence. For example, Psalm 103: 2-3 states “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases” this quote shows how sacraments are incredibly important to catholic because God himself forgives and heals sins. The sacraments of healing do not only heal a person physically but also emotionally and spiritually which can guide one to live a fulfilled life full of good deeds, forgiveness, comfort and peace as they are healed. Through the sacraments of healing the bond between Catholics and God is strengthened as they bring healing to the body and the soul. The reason this strengthens the bond between Catholics and God is that God has healed them by forgiving and blessing one which brings a sense of peace to someone's mind, body and soul. These sacraments can and even affect the community of the church as the catholic community all love each other as God loves them.
