Abstract
Angling is a certain method of fishing that consists of a person using a hook and a line, which is normally connected to a rod. It is a safe and efficient way for fishermen to catch fish and release them with ease. With such an up and coming sport (fishing), it is important to avoid methods that cause overfishing and any harm to the fish that could result in an injury or death. There are a lot more good qualities that have to do with angling over all of the alternative methods. Most other alternative methods are very harmful to the environment and the aquatic plants and animals.

There are many different types and techniques of fishing that are used all around the world. The most used method is called angling. Angling is the act or art of fishing with a hook and a line. They are usually attached to a fishing rod (Dictionary, Dictionary.com, 2018). Other types of angling include: spearfishing, hand-gathering, netting, trapping, using animals, and many other techniques.
