Child abuse is an alarming issue in each nation in the world in recent years. “Approximately 5 children die every day” (Do something, n.d.). Child abuse is that parents and caregivers mistreat harmfully or injury with a child. It includes neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse and emotional abuse. Child abuse is effect on the mental and physical development of child. “Child abuse is a recognized public health and social problem worldwide” (Akmatov, 2010). According to Healy (2013), the rate of child abuse and neglect was 17.2 of every 1000 children, totaling more than 1.25 million children. This issue could stop by teachers in school, parents in family and society. In facts, government should prevent child abuse. Schools organize child abuse prevention programs for children in order to educate and provide knowledge about child abuse. It increases inhabitant awareness of child abuse and provides solutions to solve it. “National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) has made a significant contribution to the safety of children by rising public awareness of child abuse and neglect” (NAPCAN, n.d.). The campaign encourages building a good relationship between parents and children. Government sets up public phone stations where people report child abuse cases. “By making the phone call, we can all help end the cycle of abuse and neglect” (Brown, 2015). Moreover, society opens centers to give advice for people to avoid violence child. “Child abuse prevention center provides parents with the tools to raise their children to be happy, healthy and productive members of the community” (Child Abuse Prevention Center of New York, n.d.).
