Unit 1 - Enterprise in the Business World – Assignment 1
I have decided to start an event planning service along with a banqueting hall. I will organise big events like fairs, parades, weddings, reunions, birthdays and anniversaries. I can also organise meetings. Along with the event planning service I will open a banqueting hall for these occasions. Starting an event planning service will involve arranging for food, Sending invitations to attendees. The reason I think this business will be successful is because weddings and parties are popular and organising events is not an easy job. I will open my banqueting hall in Walthamstow.

My business is going to require a large hall as my business is going to host and organise, parties, weddings and other big events. I will not locate my banqueting hall in the centre of Walthamstow and the reason for that is that the rent for my premises will be extremely high and would cost too much for my business. I will look for a large hall that is just outside Walthamstow Central because the rent in that location will be cheaper. I will also locate my premises in a place where there is a parking facility for my customers. I will need to employ people that can reach my business easily. If the area my business is in has a high unemployment rate it will make it easier for my business to employ people.
