If warfare is a part of human nature, then how do you explain all the pacifists in the world? How do you explain the mass negative attitude about war? One can ask, why do she like homework and he doesn’t? That’s their personal view on homework. Nobody is the same because everybody’s experiences affect their values and beliefs different. If one family lost multiple members due to causalities of war, their attitude toward war may be different than a family with zero members in the service. Biases play a major role in our beliefs and values whether they were inherited or learned. The stereotypical attitude of a soldier during war is valorous, strength-driven, and with fearless attitude. These studies suggest that many soldiers in battle resist firing their weapon in combat. Some researchers may conclude that people have an inherent withstand from killing their fellow human beings. The stereotypical idea that every soldier is ruthless, fearless, and unemotional is not realistic. Nevertheless, one can’t predict individual’s actions during war due to the situational aspect because of the values and their view on war. The attitude citizens during war fluctuate due to the situation they are in and whether they are victorious. Citizens may react to war, if on the victorious side, triumphant and a necessary evil. On the contrary, Citizens may also react to war, if on the losing side, angry or hate because of the destruction of their cities and the death of their people.
