Images allowed me to visually acknowledge what the writer was talking about in their post with a picture. Without images I may have had a different perspective that may have been wrong, due to not having an image that went along with their post it. I think images help express visuals very well and sometimes words are not enough to explain a visual to its full extent. Without visualizations my perspective would have without a doubt been different in some way. I have had good experiences reading graphic novels. It is different because it adds visuals instead of just a wall of text. The book took you around the ship. The book had many interactions that you could do such as having the book highlight or read to you. Whenever you moved pages it would highlight the word and go through each word. It had good visuals and with the interactive part would keep the reader engaged. Padlet’s provided quick responses from other classmates and the instructor. The strengths have to be the easy accessibility of Padlet because it was very easy to publish a discussion and it is very easy to use. I also enjoyed how others can see your discussion and have the opportunity to comment on your post. I think a weakness is how the discussion is very narrow and goes straight up and down. For some discussions I felt that my post was very long in length when it really was not that much information. Using Padlet in the classroom is a good way to see where students are in course content.
