Quentin Jacobsen Quentin is an intelligent, level-headed, nerdy, and good person. He gets picked on, until Margo stops them or starts talking to them to stop them. Quentin doesn't want to stand up to the people doing it because he isn't very strong and he knows what they could do to him. After the outing with Margo, Quentin gains more self-confidence and is able to stand up to the bully, Chuck. " 'C'mere,' he said again. Chuck stepped forward." (Green, pg. 99) Finding the confidence to send an email out to these bullies was a big step for Quentin. He was able to get them to stop bullying them, but it was near the end of his senior year, so it didn't help him much.
