Reggie Miller was known as one of the best shooters of any era in the NBA. He had 2,560 made three pointers in his career, he ended his career as the NBA’s greatest long range shooter. He scored 25,299 points in his total career. He was also ranked twelfth place on the all-time scoring list. Reginald Wayne Miller was born on September 25, 1965, in Riverside, California. Reggie was born with hip deformities, so he had to wear leg braces and walk with crutches and sit on a wheelchair to get around. However his braces were able to come off and he would spend time with his older sister Cheryl who is one of his siblings, he also has an older brother Darrell and a little brother Saul Jr. Both of his siblings are very athletic, but he would mostly …show more content…

He still holds the UCLA records for most league points, highest league scoring average, and most free throws. He continued playing basketball. Later on Reggie was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 11th pick in the 1st round of the 1987 NBA draft. Fans were upset that Miller was chosen over Indiana native Steve Alford. Reggie Miller was a very good athlete and he was the best Indiana Pacers player in history, he held many records and he was a very unique player. Today he is working as a NBA commentator on TNT.
