When the two school finally arrived, Beauxbatons by flying carriage and Durmstrang by boat, the schools were introduced to the Goblet of Fire that would choose a name submitted by the student, there would be one student (or champion) from each school. Many people entered. Many people, such as Fred and George, were just a little bit under the age limit of seventeen. They tried to get over the line by using aging potion. Which resulted in them growing beards. When the Cup finally choose it’s champions it choose Viktor Crum from Durmstrang, Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons, Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts, and to everyone’s surprise (including Harry himself) Harry Potter. Harry went to the room where the other three champions were to find them very confused. The teachers came in and Dumblrdore calmly asked if Harry had put his name in the Goblet of Fire. When Harry said he had not Dumbledore believed him but the other teachers, headmasters, and government officials (Mr. Bagman and Mr. Crouch) did not believe him. He was very worried about Harry and everything going on in the castle. He told him to meet him alone in the Gryffindor Common Room by the fireplace at one am. That very day he saw Hagrid who told Harry to meet him that night. Hagrid took him (with his invisibility cloak on) to see what the first task was. It was dragons. That night Sirius told him the head of Durmstrang, Karkaroff, used to be a Death Eater. Sirius told Harry to be careful. Harry told Sirius that the first task was dragons, Sirius began to help him when someone was coming so he left. It was Ron, he had come down in the middle of the night. Harry knew that both Viktor Crum and Fleur Delacour already knew what the task was so he toldd Cedric Diggory. Mad-Eye Moody pulled Harry aside and helped him. He told him to use with strengths to his advantage. That night before the first task Hermione helped Harry master the Summoning Charm that he would use to get his broom. At the first task each champion chose a dragon from the bag. Harry got the Hungarian Horntail and would be going last. When Harry went out to face the dragon he summoned his Firebolt and received only a scratch before retrieving the Golden Egg. Harry came in second
