Patient centered care has become significantly important in healthcare. Hospitals rely on patients’ experiences and feedback to improve patient outcomes and provide quality care. The article defines patient centered care as “Care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patients’ preferences, needs and values, and ensures that patients’ values guide all clinical designs” (Azimzadeh, Rahmani, Valizadeh, & Zamanzadeh, 2013, p. 321). Most Oncology patients will return to the same facility they had a positive experience. Per Andreou, Merkouris, Papastavrou, & Tsangari (2014) article individualized care is related to patient satisfaction. Previous research has shown that majority of cancer patients’ needs are not met, which is why it is important to explore patients’ needs and problems (Azimzadeh et al., 2013). So, how do patients diagnosed with cancer perceive patients' needs or perception of nursing care behaviors?
