Patrick Henry was one of the greatest persuasive speakers during American history. The most famous speech was ‘Virginia Convention’ also known as ‘Liberty or Death’. In his speech at the Virginia Convention, Patrick argues that the Americans need to put their fears away by taking up arms against the British by using allusions, diction, syntax, figurative language to achieve his purpose. Patrick Henry said this speech in 1775 at St. John’s Church in Richmond, Virginia.
