Hernando De Alarcon Hernando De Alcorcon was a spanish navigator of the 16th century. He was born in Trujillo Extremadura. Alarcón 's mission was to provide supplies for Francisco Coronado 's expedition in search of the fabled Seven Cities of Cibola. They became first non-Indians to sight Alta California on September 5, 1540. His family hoped he would become a lawyer, but he told his father he would rather explore the West Indies.

It also served as a communication line, and supported trade, supplies, and military protection. In a similar way, this pathway contributed to Texas independence. It gave troops and armies supplies that were needed, and enabled communication.
The news of a break-in that left a Windsor woman dead made the headlines on December 11 2014. She was later identified as 31 years old Cassandra Kaake, a 7 ½ months pregnant expectant (CBC News 2017a). During the investigation, the crime unit identified her murderer as 28 years old Matthew Brush from LaSalle, Ontario (Windsor Star 2017). Upon further investigation, it was revealed that on the night of December 10 2014, Brush broke into Kaake’s home with the intent to steal her underwears and masturbate, an obsession he’s had since his teen years (CBC News 2017a). The perpetrator's lack of self control over his obsession and his actions following his discovery lead to the loss of this young soul.

I was informed by the Garden of Angels Cemetery that in cased I died before Maria the Cemetery would need Maria’s authorization so I can be allowed to be buried in the burial plot that we buy together. Hurricane like weather destroys the white sand beach in the Dominican Republic as well as many hotels along the Atlantic sea. Last night, hotels in the Dominican was flooded, trees were uprooted, the beach was destroyed all due to the tropic storm that struck late Monday night. Extreme water and wind damage destroyed the beach and resorts.
Bartolome de Las Casas was born in 1848 in Spain. Las Casas was a Spanish historian and dominican missionary who objected the Spanish treatment of the Natives. Las Casas is known for his famous writings which weren’t published until many years after his death. Las Casas was not like any ordinary man in his time period. He opposed to several things the Spanish had against the Natives.
Moreover, in 1537, another Spanish explorer known as Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca, wrote a book titled La Relación, where he explained the obstacles him and his crew had to face during the Narvaez expedition in 1527 to the Spanish King, Charles I. In connection to all the men who sailed “from Cuba to Tampa Bay in present-day Florida” only “Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca and three other men survived the expedition, but only after enduring a nine-year, six-hundred-mile trek across Texas and Mexico and enslavement by Indians…….” In my opinion, this letter gives the reader a much clearer understanding of the things that Cabeza de Vaca saw during his journey because he writes his letters using words like “my”, “I”, and “me” which makes it clear to us
The Accomplishments of Luis Valdez Luis Valdez is an important figure in the theater and especially in the world of Chicano theater. He was born in Delano, California on June 26, 1940. He was raised in worker camps across California with his ten brothers and sisters to parents who were migrant farm workers. At age six, he began working in the fields alongside his family. This aspect of his childhood would shape the creative and activist aspects of his life forever (Escamilla, 2002).

Pedro Alonso Lopez, also known as Monster of the Andes, was a colombian serial killer who was sentenced for killing eighty girls, but he claimed he murded and rapped about three hundred. Pedro Lopez was known for raping girls around his country then moved to Peru and Ecuador and all around. Pedros dad died when Benilda; his mother, was three months pregnant with her son at the time of his father's death.
Time and history has shown us over and over again the power of words. Great leaders of societies obtain that magnetic pull with words that enable them to reach masses of people throughout the world. It’s all determined by how the speaker or the writer tries to convey his or her message and what they hope to achieve with their words. The Cuban writer, José Martí evidently establishes his political views through his written piece, “Our America”. Martí’s written work is manifested by his political choice of words and distinct approaches that speak to both his fellow Cubans and the higher nation that is the United Sates throughout his essay.
Eight of the initial survivors died on the afternoon of 29 October when an avalanche cascaded down on them as they slept in the fuselage. For three days they survived in an appallingly confined space since the plane was buried under several feet of snow.
