After graduating dental school, I hope to work as a general dentist in private practice and hope to help underprivileged communities locally and around the world. The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine provides the curriculum and atmosphere for me to reach these goals. The school offers rigorous academic curricula, strong clinical programs, opportunities for community involvement, supportive staff and faculty, and diverse opportunities to get involved. Penn Dental Medicine offers a comprehensive academic and clinical environment while promoting flexible and diverse options for students to tailor their education to their interests. The school promotes opportunities to study other professional disciplines and encourages students to hone in on their other interests through dual-degree, honors, and selectives programs.
