Why do we need body cameras for every policeman and policewoman.The question is what would the world be like if every police officer had a camera. They are necessary to have on if your a police officer working a shift a night shift or a day shift. The good thing is that if you are a citizen, and they start to act up and try to hurt the police officer it will be record and if they take it to court it will be on video so that is a plus to the ability to wear them. I think that all should not wear them the alone ones that need to wear them are the ones that are in the field doing work. Which is a good idea not ever police needs to wear them. The New York Police Department officers were made by the mayor Bill De Blasic. I don 't agree with that mayor of New York at all because what officer would want to wear a body camera all day every day. The cameras that they wear will mess up with the way police and the community interact, which is a bad thing the department. Whenever something bad happens to the police at work or as they are on the job there will be video proof of what really happened the truth will come out. What is it a big deal for Police to wear body cameras. I think that they will be getting spied on with the cameras. It is possible that there is some truth in that like there could be a tiny microphone in there listening to all they say, and like there are watching them 24/7 all day every day. If it is true then why hasn 't anyone done anything about it, and tried to stop it. There is a problem that it cost a lot to get all the cameras it is like seven hundred dollars to just get one of those camera which is a lot of money for a little box
