Reading is a fundamental skill to acquire content knowledge in academic fields such as science and social studies. During the time, people have been expected that children will learn and able to read when they studied at school. Therefore, they do not realize that they learn to read since they were in children-stage. In the early time of learning, children are introduced to letters and they must be familiar with those letters to be able to read. It tells about how a teenager had been failed to read although Dyslexia is not the main theme in this movie. Because of that, as a part of Psycholinguistics approach, the researcher become interested in exploring Dyslexia phenomena that suffered by Percy Jackson. This research is employed descriptive qualitative research which has focused on phenomena of dyslexia suffered by Percy Jackson. This research is using Psycholinguistics analysis. In analyzing part of the movie, library research is carried out. Data are collected from a part of the movie "Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" as the primary source. Then the secondary sources like books, essays, journals and electronics data accessed through the internet, are organized, classified, and analyzed.
