Stop 1 – Stinky Cove/Fossil Point. After loading the bus we headed east on Cape Arago Highway until we got to fossil point. We parked and unloaded the bus and began walking along the small exposed sandy beach. At the bend we stopped and were asked to find a fossil, as I wandered around I couldn’t find much other than the ground up shells mixed in with the seaweed and sand. As we continued to walk we came to another spot where we were able to observe scallop fossils mixed with the rock it was coarse and grainy much like sandpaper.

The article talks about how archeologist have found a tar-based glue substance on weapons that date back to the Neanderthals. The discovery of glue debunks the popular belief that the Neanderthals weren’t a complex group. The discovery was made in Germany and Italy and date back to 200,000 years ago. Greasy Lake “Greasy Lake” by T. Coraghessan Boyle is a story about a 19 year old young boy, the narrator, who learns that his bad boy image is just an image. Describing himself and his friends, Digby and Jeff, as “dangerous characters” (Boyle 77), he soon realizes that he may not be ready for such a title. Out with his friends one summer night, the narrator, Digby and Jeff head to Greasy Lake in hopes of getting into some type of “adventure” (Boyle 78). Thinking that they have spotted their friends car on Greasy Lake they attempt to play a joke on him and his girl. Once the young boys approach the car they soon realize that the car belongs to some other “bad greasy character” (Boyle 78).
Do you want Anamosa to be a cleaner, happier place? Then vote for me! If I were mayor, I would fix up the park, restrict the speeding on North Ford Street, and widen the sidewalk near the middle school. I would start of by regulating speeding on North Ford Street. First I would change the speed limit from 25 mph to 20 mph.
Hi Ryanne, I actually just saw something on the World News tonight about how the U.S. Congress believe that there are to many test in general for students. The Congress is contemplating cutting the amount of testing that is pushed on students. I think this would be a wonderful thing for teachers and students. I believe this would drop the stress for both teachers and students. Concerning a "bubble student", I believe that we both have parts that are correct.

I used to hate greasers. Especially Pony’s gang after they picked up Cherry and Marcia. Bob and I were so mad. I mean they were no-hopers, why would they think they have the right to have soc girls. They were seen as juvenile delinquents by society, people who should be feared and were reckless.
