The perks of being a wallflower is a novel about an freshman outcast Charlie who tries to discover himself after being told by his english teacher he needs to participate more. “ He’s a wallflower.” A wallflower a person who observes things ,understands, and keeps quiet . The title is a symbolic representation of the main character Charlie position in the novel. “ The perks” advantages of “Wallflower” being as he one who observes. Overall I think the title fits because of my reading and the author helped the readers with hints of what the qualities of being a “ wallflower” or an outcast. 2 There is not a conflict for the most part ; but Charlie dose face internal challenges. therefore there is not a prevention for the issues Charlie faces.
