Perseus was Zeus and Danae's son. Born in an underground prison. He grew up to play with his toys quietly and to hide when the guards brought food for the princess, his mother, Danae. Perseus was a Greek hero. Perseus was titled a hero is because he killed Medusa, Medusa was a woman who had snakes for hair and eyes that turned people to stone. He killed her to save his mother from the King, Polydectes. The King wanted Medusa but didn't know how to without being turned to stone, so Perseus said he was going to get Medusa's head. Polydectes wanted to marry Danae and the son did not like that so to save his mother, he had to kill Medusa. Also he saved Andromeda from the sea monster. Andromeda was the Princess and her family sacrificed Andromeda
