Ms. Kathleen Ransom completed an anger management intake with Journey Counseling. Journey Counseling is a certified agency to provide anger management, domestic violence, and drug and alcohol treatment. Furthermore, I am a Colorado certified addictions counselor, senior level, and hold a Masters in social work. I am also a state approved domestic violence treatment provider.
Carey Counseling Center is a not for profit organization, making the nature of their business service billed. The Bureau of Tenncare is one of the most directly affected organizations as it relates to CCC’s billing services. Tenncare is a Medicaid sponsored, state run department that receives contract bids from united health care and Blue Cross Blue Shield. These contracts, once awarded give the recipient the opportunity to decide which of the insurance companies the clients want to utilize. Once they decide on a company, the rate of exchange that is accepted in a contract agreement between CCC and insurance companies.
Pratt reported he received mental health treatment at Delta Counseling in 1988 for depression, anxiety, and grief counseling. Pratt stated his uncle died and it was difficult for him to handle. In the life there are a lot of challenges which builds the person and give him/her the power. Whenever there was a great goal, the desire to reach it will be stronger. Successful person who does not give up and achieves his goals with all the insistence and determination. Mostly, objectives fall within the framework of values as stated in the book American Ways by authors Maryanne Kearny Datesman, Joann Crandall, and Edward N. Kearny. The most prominent values sought by the person are the individual freedom, equality of opportunity, and material wealth.

The main factor that matters when an individual or family’s progression in life and obtaining the American Dream depends upon their perspective- outlook on life you’re either a realist or idealist (Hansberry, p134).
In this essay, I will show how I have developed as a person, with the aid of regular counselling, process group, regular journaling and triad work within the Person Centered Counselling 1 (PCC1) paper. Using these tools, it has been an intense, rewarding, painful journey from self-discovery to self-acceptance to self-love and I will share a little of that journey. I will show how using the core conditions of empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence regarding myself has enabled me to become deeply secure. I will discuss this concept within a Christian spirituality context as well as discussing cultural issues relating specifically to the Tiriti O Waitangi.
My interest in a counseling related profession and helping others spawned as a result of a lifetime of learning and curiosity; namely, mindfully molding my thoughts, actions, and habits into a perpetual pattern of unconscious and unpremeditated altruistic behavior. Furthermore, I have always aspired to determine the roots of all my emotions and master the behaviors of a trustworthy, loyal, courteous, and kind individual. Being a minority student on a college campus can be difficult. Both articles highlighted the challenges that minority college students face as they engage the college environment. According to Own, Lacy, Rawls and Holbert (2010), African American students have been found to be less academically prepared for the rigor of college courses and have limited information about the college process in general. Latino and Latina students are in the same boat. Lack of preparation is often due to lack of financial resources.

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be successful in life. I have always wanted to be the better version of my parents and achieve many things in life. During my freshman year in High school, I knew I was going to major in business. I come from a household of five, my father, mother, two younger sisters, and myself.
