The Game:
I can still remember the first time I held a golf club like it was yesterday, which would make sense because it was only three months ago. However, It was like something had awoken inside of me. In such a short time, golf has become more than just a hobby; it has evolved into a driving force that has shaped my character and worldview. The game has immensely influenced my personal growth, and ability to persevere and form relationships.

My Reconnection:
I was not telling the truth when I said the first time I held a gold club was only a few months ago; it was actually closer to a decade ago. My father introduced me to the sport when we once belonged to the Kennett Country Club. That era of my life did not last very long and before I knew it, the country club was just a fading memory, my memory of golf along with it. This history is why I felt as though I had attained something long-lost when I held that driver for the first time, again, at Topgolf.
