Most people would say that my life has been eventfull so far, but I think of my life as average. I know that I have greater things coming, and what I have done up until now will help me along the way.
I love music, and have always been involved in various musical activities. I started band in fifth grade, and have been to over ten honor bands in my middle and high school career, learning things each time I went. I am on the Color Guard team and have been Captain of the team for three years and written the routines for two. I have been in choir for two years and have gone to three honor choirs. I also take solos to constest and have gone to state with my clarinet solos twice, receiving a one and a two and performed in regionals with my choir solos receiving twos each time. I have received the directors award in band for demonstrating leadership skills in and out of class. Last year a clarinet choir was created that I participated in with other class members and received a two at regionals and performed at a concert for the school.

I have been an active member in Family Career and Community Leaders of America for three years. One year as a member, the next as secretary, and the last as president. One organization that is involved with FCCLA is Big Brothers Big Sisters where I was given the chance to mentor two ‘littles’ in my time there. This summer my church went and helped with the opening ceremonies of special Olympics and other subtle service projects that benefit others. These organizations have taught me many lessons and each hold a special place in my heart. I hope to take the skills I have learned from these many activities and apply them to whatever I end up doing with my
