Freedom is a gift, and it needs to be shared with those who have already overcame so much to get
Drew Choike Dr. Greer American History December 1, 2017 Reading response chapter #3 Many high school students are taught in their respective history classes growing up about battles, wars, and important moments in U.S. history without actually connecting these events to other happenings of relevance going on at about the same time in history around the world, making it hard for some students to think about dates and link the events together as being during the same time period. Chapter three of A Nation Among Nations by Thomas Bender entitled “Freedom in an Age of Nation Making” examines these different events around the world at about the same time as the American Civil War between the Union made up of the northern states and the Confederacy made up of the southern states.
Q2 Challenges Addressed at the Constitutional Convention The Constitutional Convention of 1787 sought to address several pressing challenges facing the newly formed United States, including the weakness of the central government and the conflicts over representation in the legislature. But, in today’s society, humans are not entitled to their own personal freedom. There are countless factors that are not enabling civilians to acquire their rights to personal freedom. For instance, harming or murdering an individual just due to sheer dislike is taking away that individual’s rights. True personal freedom exists when every individual has complete authority of their own life.
Dorothy Allison claims that context leads others to have distinct perspectives of a person due to his or her social class and familial background. She utilizes personal experiences and flashbacks such as memories from childhood and life as a grown up to reinforce her claim. She enhances the authenticity of her claim by providing
Another freedom important to me is being to enjoy myself without any fear of the government. In America you can do what you want as long as it is legal and can 't be punished by the government without a fair trial if you are accused of a crime.
Another example of someone fighting for our freedoms is Jesus dying on the cross to save us, so that we would be set free of our sins. When we admit that we are sinners, believe in our hearts that Jesus is lord, and confess with our hearts that Jesus died on that cross to save us from our sins, then we will be saved. Just know that we aren’t alone, we
I feel like without this freedom, there would be much anger among the people. This would cause more trouble in the country also. Second, freedom of speech is important because we can express our individuality. With our opinions, we can give others ideas, and maybe change their opinions.
Freedom is a right. Freedom was given to us by the Founding Fathers. Freedom gives us no restrictions. The First Amendment gives us citizens the right to freedom of speech, allowing us to talk about our beliefs without restriction. Freedom gives us the right to help others through hard times and improve our communities.
These rights are designed to protects us and I believe that as Americans we should cherish these rights we are given because it allows us to be ourselves.

Theologian William Cavanaugh uses Christian resources to incisively address basic economic matters like the free market, consumer culture, globalization, and scarcity. The main idea of freedom is to be respectful and helpful to the community. Freedom is not endless. Freedom should be limited in some circumstances for the benefits of the community. You can't just do whatever you want just saying that “I have freedom.” We can’t kill people, do things illegally.
Parents should teach their children about freedom. They should limit it. I think when kids reach the teen years you have to pay close to their freedom. Teens would love to go out, and hang with their friends. In conclusion freedom is an individual right that everyone is born with.
