When reading all three articles pertaining to Affirmative Action, one can gain a great insight on Affirmative Action, what it means, how its affecting people, and how people view what Affirmative Action stands for. Many generalizations can be made about Affirmative Action and what it means or stands for. Some might say it is unfair that we have Affirmative Action policies and that it only hurts those that actually need it. My personal generalization is that Affirmative Action is creating equality amongst people, which is very important if we as a nation want to succeed. I can also infer that AA creates diversity in the work place and in educational areas because it allows a variety of people to succeed and work or learn together. Affirmative …show more content…

An example of this was in the article about White Women and Affirmative Action when the author, Jesse Daniels, describes a real life experience of hers when she was not granted a job because they “had to give it to the Latina” (Daniels). This evidence just goes to show how the diversity has helped broaden the views and the tolerance of equality and differences. The article also stated how the diversity allowed the military to be more battle ready (The Affirmative Action Debate). I also believe Affirmative Action is a good things because it gives people who normally do not get a chance at something, a chance for
