Today is the day, I thought, moving from Los Angeles to Honolulu, I was really nervous, because I had never been on a plane before, and there was no way I was taking a boat all the way to Hawaii. I felt horrible having to leave all of my friends, but I knew that I could make new ones. The plane ride there was uneventful (thankfully), and once we got to the airport, I knew that living here would be the best. My parents are both robotics engineers, and for some reason there were two jobs to open up here, so we moved here. On the ride to our new house, I was gazing out the window, and my mind was drifting, until I heard the high voice of my mother. “ Aren’t you excited to see the new house,” my mother squealed, “ I’ll bet that it looks even …show more content…
“You will love the house for sure.” The house was grand, three stories tall, in-ground pool, this place is deluxe. “ Is that a mini-golf course?!?!” I asked my parents excitedly. SKIP TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL “Okay mom, I’ve got to go now,” I said frantically. I am so excited for the first day at this new school! I’m going to make a bunch of new friends, meet all of my new teachers, and most of all, I’ll start band class!!!!!!!! I’m going to be playing the flute, and it is so fun!!!I was daydreaming so much that I nearly missed the bus and forgot my backpack. Once I got to school, I was greeted by a grumpy teacher that gave me a look like I had grown a second head. Then he scowled at me, but before he could say a word, a perky teacher came and pushed him away and said happily, “ Sorry about that, Mr. Wilbur is a bit of a grump. I’m Mrs. Rokowski, I’m a sixth grade science teacher, and you are…… ” “ I’m Zoey, I just moved here last week.” “ Ohhhhhhhh, I think that I have you in my fourth hour,” she said happily. Once the bell rang to go to homeroom, I looked down at my schedule, and it said ‘Mr. Wilbur, room 110, homeroom’ . Great, I thought I have that grouch of a teacher for homeroom, that means that this day can’t get any …show more content…
Wilbur, everyday since he told me not to get in his way, I feel like he is trying to kill me!!!! He has offered to give me candy and is asking me to come in for lunch, but I never do because Luna says that he is literally a monster. I think that Mr. Steele and Mr. Sherman are really monsters too. I soon learned that our theories were true. Not only that, but that all of the other teachers are monster hunters. I know that the nice and mean teachers hate each other, but now I’m expecting a massive fight, like good vs. evil. On the most anxiety-filled day, all of the teachers left their classes with no explanation. Then two minutes later, I heard blood-curdling screeches echoing through the halls. All of the students were peering out of their classrooms to see who or what released the screech. To my surprise (not) Mr. Wilbur was a bat-like thing with the head of the human he used to look like. Below him were Mrs. Rokowski and Mrs. Kowall, with electric spears and giant swords. Then, two other bat-human things flew in, and it turns out that they were Mr. Steele and Mr.
