It pushed me to get better, and now I couldn’t be happier for the effort I put
I kept going for the guy next to me performing to the best to his ability. Success was the result of all the hard relentless work done throughout June into August. I acknowledged that my team had a good group of seniors who were high character student-athletes I spent most of childhood with. Ultimately finishing with a record of 3 wins and 7 loses taught me many lessons on becoming a better person and
October 14 7:07 am: The raindrops glisten as i walk along the road listening to my walkman. “another day another blunder” i thought to myself. when im a minute away the bus drives right by me. “oh crap” i pull out my phone to call my parents. When I get to my bus stop I like all my parents and they come pick me up but when they before they do that they yell at me like every other day when I get to school I go straight to the band room to drop off my bass clarinet.
My six word memoir is very self explanatory and purely honest. When someone close to you dies, I wouldn’t say it gets easier each year. But in fact it takes time to accept it. We can’t continue to have a mindset that repeats phrases like, “ What if?” or “ If only we could’ve done this…” We can’t go back change the natural occurrences of events. But what we can change is the here
My 6 word memoir does not describe myself, but it does describe who I strive to be. Along with many of my classmates, our generation is made up of texting, social media and a lack of social abilities. We can go days without having a meaningful conversation or one at all and that gets to me. Today instead of confronting people about issues we have with each other, we hide behind our phones and ignore people through what we see as a read receipt. Lately my goal has been to shy away from most communication through social media and actually have a conversation with the people I am trying to reach.
The transition from eighth grade to ninth grade is one of the most difficult but unforgettable things a student must do in his adolescence. For me, it was filled with new opportunities of taking Ap classes and joining clubs. One of these cubs was Youth and Government (Y&G). For as long as I can remember my brother, Riad, has boasted about how amazing Y&G is and how it has changed his life. My brother is three years older then me, so as a freshman he was a senior in Y&G.
Andrew, my older brother, in middle of the road he was tired to keep ride the ox for 1 month. He asked me to replace him, so he can get some sleep. But then I do not have any experience of riding ox, that cause our wagon go wrong trail. The sky was dark like almost rain, I was panic. Everyone was in poor health because digest least food.
It’s Been a Ride As the freshman finished packing the bus with all the gear and all got on the bus we were ready to go. We had a long ride ahead of us as we were heading to Housatonic, a team that we beat 5-3 and tied 3-3 during the regular season. However, they were able to finish up their season strong and were a much better team than before. The bus rides to the games are always a blast.
The first time I went to the weight room in the winter we had to max out. I was nervous and my heart was pounding out of my chest as if I were having a heart attack. I had to clean, bench, and squat. I started with squat and I was happy with my weight. Second was bench and it was my least favorite lift.
It was a cold winter day a few days after my birthday. We were packing stuff into brown boxes and Doritos boxes and some direct t.v boxes because we were moving. I was packing tons of toys in boxes. I was packing stuff in garbage bags and boxes to put in a garage sale.
I rolled Devon in his wheelchair down to the parking lot to show him my new ride. The hospital always insisted on us using the wheelchair and was very strict about Devon getting up out of it when he was not in his room or in physical therapy. “Your mom got you this? Oh my goodness, it’s beautiful. How’s the sound system?” said Devon “totally bumping’.
"And that is why i cannot stand taxi's! Thanks for watching and don't forget to like and subsribe! " I wink and turn the camera off, the usual routine. Honestly, being a youtuber is hard work, especially one trying (and mostly failing) to climb the social ladder.
“Alright people, we are wrapped for the day! Everyone looked fabulous today, great work! A bottle of wine is waiting for me at home so whoever walks out of the door last better lock up,” Mark the photographer says as he storms out the door before anyone else. Our daily bell rings to let us know that the shoot was over and everyone there drops what they were doing to get home. I pass by every other model either scrambling to get their stuff together or flirting their way up the fashion social ladder.
My family and I were all going to the Rockies game. There was actually a lot of us who had went, First it was my brother, sister, mom, grandma, grandpa, my three cousins, and my friend, my sister’s friend, plus my brothers friend. The day was going to be exciting. I went with my mom to go pick up my friend, while the rest of the family went to the Rockies game and went to get some food. Sometime later me, my friend, and my mom all arrive at the Rockies game.
A long time ago in a school not so far away a peculiar event occurred, that I will never forget. It all started on the first day of school. It was my first year at Finley Farms Elementary and I was ready for the second grade, or so I thought. I entered my classroom and was happy to learn.
