There I was on top of my house floating down the river. This was no normal river this river felt like the inside of my freezer. It was cold and unforgiving kind of like my cat that was with me. Not only were we floating down the river it was raining cats and dogs. Good thing I grabbed my tent. That will keep the cat dry and me thankfully. I grabbed a couple of other things to help us survive. I grabbed the basic things tent, knife, fishing pool, pack of flares, propane stove, a case of water, fishing bait, 12 gage single shot, box of shells, and a lighter. Now I was set for this crazy house rafting. Me personal loves water but the cat on the other hand hates it. On this journey I had one friend she was hairy had four legs but she was the best.
Katty is hungry I forgot to bring her food. I decide that I was going to catch her food. I grabbed my fishing pole and hoped for the best. I casted my line hoping for any kind of fish. 5 mins have gone by then bam my fishing pole just about jerked out of my hands! What have I got on the end of this line whatever it is its big and angry. Nice breeze normal fish to eat it was nice to get away from social media and phones. We must have floated 15 miles away from where we were. These mountains look like the ones in Appalachia. This flood is moving fast; however, we feel like we just floating slowly. Why is everything floating this way? It’s like all the damns broke in order to push us this way. There is no way Mother Nature would do this not on a normal day with no storms. Ayy... you over there the one with a cat look over here. Who is that he so far away I can’t tell who that is. The floods pushes us closer but not close enough to really talk to each other. Just close enough to see each other I didn’t know who this man was. He was dressed in a button up shirt and blue jean shorts. Before I could tell him not to get in the water. He dives right in I know it was over for him. Those fish were eating him alive I could hear him screaming. I could not let him suffer like this. I grabbed my shotgun, one shell and a little prayer. Everything was silent then bang no more screaming. I puked up what I caught this morning and passed out. From the site of his guts and blood
