It is often difficult for a person to decide what field he or she wants to go into, especially in their teenage years. Deciding what a person desires as a career for the rest of his/her life is a challenge, especially since most people spend just about the rest of their lives doing that occupation, which they chose while they were in high school. Some people change their majors and go into something else, but this has a very heavy toll on that person 's bank account; it will weigh it down, especially if they could barely afford it the first time around. Therefore, the two majors that I have been back and forth between are Computer Science and Molecular Diagnostics (which is a component of the medical field), due to how stressful they are, how fast they are growing, how in demand they are, how rigorous they are in school, how the typical work week looks like, and how much human interaction there is. The stress levels of both of these careers are almost the same, however, they are both stressful in their own ways. Equanimity is something that is …show more content…
The medical field still remains number one when it comes to the demand of certain jobs. It has been number one and still holds its spot because of the fact that doctors are always in demand. Patients constantly fall victim to injury or pain, and therefore having to stop by and pay the doctor a visit in order for the doctor to see what is wrong with them. It is good to have an abundance of sonographers because it is unknown when the time will dissipate between a tiny medical visit and a massive medical emergency. The pictures that sonographers take have the potential to be life-saving, and that is a very big responsibility to have. Again, when it comes to the field of computer science, it’s (compound) growing because technology is constantly emerging into something better. The demand of this field depends on the pace of the ever changing technology. Consequently, the schooling of these two fields is differently
