A day in the life of a Sniper in time of war: As dawn breaks among the trees, we set out. There are four of us. At one time we were seven. Three of my companions were killed when they shot us out of the sky. We were on a stealth mission to destroy a facility in North Korea. Intel pointed to them being in control of a top secret nuclear missile test site. It seems also that they were stealing information from the US database. We were there to destroy the facility and leave undetected. That took a turn for the worse. As we entered enemy territory, we could see Anti-Aircraft weapons below us and air force bases along with them. “Doug,” I said to our pilot, “we have to fake a crash and loss of controls; otherwise we will be searched for.” “10-4 Charlie, but it’s going to be a rough ride,” he said to me. “Scarlett, we will attempt the wounded sparrow maneuver and destroy this bird. Try to save some time for us to escape would you,” Doug said to the co-pilot Scarlett. As we approached, a ground to air missile hit the tail and we lost complete control. There were buzzers and lights flashing among the cockpit. We all jumped out not knowing what would be of us. We aimed for tree branches as this was our only hope of survival if we were to fall from that amount of height. I was first followed by Chris and then by Bryan. We were all out of the plane merely seconds apart but we were several hundred yards away from each other on the ground where we landed. We never saw Doug and Scarlett jump out. We took them for dead when the plane went up in flames. We made sure it would be destroyed by loading the missiles and making sure the bombs would detonate.
