Born in Dallas, Texas raised in Houston, Texas, I was the type of kid that didn’t need much or that moved around a lot. I was a young dreamer wishing to be something big. I had all the support I needed, but I was just a kid… The type of family I had was the type that will give you what you want but on one condition. That condition was that you’ll have to earn it. I didn’t mind because I was so focused on what a kid is supposed to be focus on which is school, candy, and toys. I grew up around a neighborhood called “Acres Homes”. Acres Homes isn’t the best place for a kid to grow up but wasn’t no other choice for a lower class, immigrant family to do. Acres Homes is the home to a few Houston based rappers. Things a young kid shouldn’t know about. It wasn’t a bad environment. All it was, was people doing anything possible to make money to feed their family and thanks to discrimination many people can’t or couldn’t find jobs. Many people say that most drug dealers or gang members chose the easy way, but what those people understand is that it’s really hard to get an education or a job when you’re considered “lower class” citizens. There are so many close minded people who just think about themselves and get what they want, but those who can’t try to find any way possible to put bread on the table for their family to eat. Drug dealing or gang banging was the last resort. So many try their best but lost faith on their way
