What I noticed when I watched the Seahawks two games against the Bengals, and the Panthers were that the opposing teams must have found a weakness in the Seahawks defense through film of their inability to cover good tight ends. Against the Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert had eight receptions 90 yards two touchdowns. Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen had seven catches 131 yards one touchdown which was the game winning touchdown that beat the Seahawks couple weeks ago. What the Bengals, and Panthers seemed to do was throw at strong side safety Kam Chancellor who's not really known to for his coverage skills. These tight ends were able to run good crisp routes that put Chancellor in bad positions to be able to cover them. Chancellor is …show more content…
They also have been inconsistent this year, and to me doesn’t seem like the Legion of Boom from couple years ago. Now don’t get me wrong they still have great players on that defense but it just seems different for some reason. I honestly think teams aren’t really scared of their defenses anymore especially if they have the weapons or offensive line to exploit them. Another thing I think this defense is night and day from when they’re playing in Seattle vs playing away. The best way to beat this team is away from Seattle away from that crowd that gets them pumping and going. I believe there are plays to be had against this defense. If you go right at them, and punch them in the mouth by running the football down their throats it will wear them down throughout the game. I think the Cowboys with the way the offensive line played last Sunday against the Giants they seemed to be like the offensive line from 2014. Darren McFadden ran the ball very well also. I have confidence in Cowboys being able to run the football effectively against this defense because of the offensive line it will be a tough task, but as long as the offensive line stay together I think they can have a repeat of last year in how they ran the ball against them in Seattle. It will also benefit if Dez Bryant plays because he helps take that eight or nine man out of the box which will open up the running game even
