Personal Narrative: Baseball State Championship

I was in Flowood, Alabama in late June for my baseball State Championship game. I was with my friend on the baseball team, my mom and dad, my brothers, sister, and grandparents. It was like a 4 hour road trip. During the road trip we ate at chick-fil-a. Also, when we got to the hotel, we got situated and then went swimming and ate supper. During the tournament, our first game that we lost was stressful. We then lost our next couple of games. After that, we won our next game against the Longhorns. With that win, we got a roll and started winning games. Although we were down in many games in the last inning, we ended up winning. After the game we went back to the hotel to go swimming. After that, we would go to our room. Then our parents thought we should get pizza, so they ordered pizza. After the pizza got there, we would eat and watch baseball games. …show more content…

We also had a 6 leaf clover in our dugout like we did it for all the other games for luck. I started out on the mound pitching. I lasted 3 innings and gave up 3 runs. Our team was also hitting the ball really good. We ended up winning 8-0 with a run rule after 4 innings. After that, all the parents said “great job rebels.” This is one of my best experiences in baseball I have had. I got to spend time with my family and also my friends. We had a lot of fun while doing what we love. On the way back we got a text from our coach and he said,”that there will be a party at his house.” The party was fun, and we also got a huge trophies and new
