Throughout my life people have told me to have a goal; and not just the type I like to score in a soccer game. In life everyone hits a rough patch here and there, but the ones that exceed learn to solve problems. I am involved in sports here at prospect. I played varsity soccer this year and last year. Through my four years of playing, my coaches always told me a quote by hall of fame baseball player Derek Jeter. “There may be people that might have more talent than you, but there is no excuse for someone to work harder than you.” My coaches were always there to make me a better soccer player and a better person. I know that the younger guys will build off of this success and continue to keep eating. As a leader on the team I don't really enjoy talking about my personal stats as a player, because I would rather focus on the team. This year I recorded a career high 5 goals, and was able to score 2 game winning goals. As I told grant that scoring doesn't mean a whole lot if the team ain't winning. As are record was not as strong as it should have been we still managed to finish with a record of (7-11-1). The most wins in program history since 2013. The game I will remember the most is our homecoming game. As we let in an early goal, but we managed to score a goal with ten minutes left to force OT, in front of a large student section. As I am sorry to say that the ride is over I am thankful for all the opportunities I was able to experience this season with one hell of a group of guys that I can call family.
