When my mom had me when she was 17, it was the best two and a half years of my life. I was an only child, my grandparents first grandchild, and I was spoiled like crazy. Everything went smoothly until December 23rd. The day that my little brother was born. Once I finally got to go into the delivery room to see him, my dad put me onto the hospital bed and introduced me to my new brother, Braxden. At two years old and two days before Christmas, I was happy about everything. Even getting a new brother. As time flew by, I figured out that I wasn’t the baby in the family anymore, but at least I was still the only girl who still got spoiled rotten. Once my mom found out that having two kids and living in a tiny apartment in Newton was a little bit too cramped, she decided to move back to Peabody and buy a house with my dad. That was until he was old enough to start talking and repeating whatever Braxden said. Braxden was born with ADHD and ADD so he was always going off the walls and being crazy while Chayton did the exact same thing he did, and he still does. If Braxden goes to his friends house down the street, Chayton is always there to be his shadow. When Braxden won’t listen to my mom, you can always count on Chayton to do the exact same thing as Braxden. When I was around six years old, my whole family moved to Newton, but I was the only one that was not excited at all. This was when my brothers started to become closer and I drifted off into space. The same thing happened when we moved to our new house in North Newton. My brothers and I always fight. Every. Single. Day. Not a day goes by that I don’t fight with my brothers over something stupid, unless I’m not home or if they are not home.
