The vehicle did not have a rear license plate in violation of CVC 5200(a)-No rear license plate.
While Alex was being resistive, Acadian Paramedic gave him a shot of Ketamine to calm him down. Within 5 minutes, Alex was relaxed and sedated. Once loaded up on the ambulance, Alex was transported to Singing River Hospital for
Evans and I were able to get Cage out of the rear seat and we lifted her onto an HMH gurney. HMH staff took Cage to the trauma room, Officer Marin stood by with Cage until he was advised of her medical status. (See Officer Marin’s ADD Report for further details.) I escorted Evans to the waiting room where I obtained his contact information and his statement. Evans stated he was walking southbound El Serrano Ave towards Washington Blvd when he heard what sounded like gunshots.
On 04/30/16, at 6:37pm, I was dispatched to 1552 Jonathan Drive, on a follow up on an injury possible dangerous or vicious dog, owner known, animal confined. I arrived at the house and spoke to dog owner Thomas Sawyers to verify dog license and rabies tags. Mr. Thomas provided the necessary information. Mr. Thomas admitted that he purchased the dog license after the incident. I issued Mr. Sawyers a violation for failure to license.
On October 21, 2015 at 1036 hours, I responded to the Haddon View South building, apartment 110 for a report of a discovered unconscious elderly male suspected of being deceased. Upon my arrival with the Westmont Ambulance Squad, I met with James Obrecht of maintence, and Ms. Belinda Burroughs of Gerald Home Care. Ms. Burroughs related that she notified maintence when she arrived on location and received no answer at Mr. Joseph Dunn’s apartment door. Moments later, Mr. Obrecht arrived and made entry using his passkey. Upon doing so, they discovered Mr. Dunn in his bed unresponsive and cold to the touch.
When I made a lucky catch, I learned what carelessness could cost you. I was around seven years old at the time, and I played baseball for Lakeview Playground. It was my first year of playing hardball, and like everyone else, I had no knowledge of what was happening. Our team name was the “Grey Sharks,” only because our jerseys were
Meet my Jazz band. This is a picture of us in New Orleans my junior year during spring break to play Jazz. I decided upon this picture because this band has had such a profound impact on how I frame my future. My connection with music through the piano has been fostered ever since I could reach those shiny black and white collection of keys. Starting at the age of four, playing the classical music of Mozart and Bach was what my musical background was founded upon, with tangible medals and accomplishments as achievements.
The “hood” is often what downtown, Elizabeth NJ is labeled as. Children like me are doubted as many people seem to believe we will just become another statistic. My background has motivated to strive for success, proving those with agnosticism wrong. Seeing bodies strung out on the corner or laying on the sidewalk is a part of my everyday life. I’m not ashamed of where I come from as it has made me who I am today.
So sorry to hear of Craig's death. He and Evelyn were great friends of my mother and father, James and Doris Burdick, formerly of Las Vegas and now deceased. They had a friendship of many years, along with my cousin, Diane Byrd. I remember Craig as one heck of a nice guy and a gentleman. I pray the Lord will keep Craig's soul close to Him, which I'm sure of because Craig gave asked Jesus into his heart and lived it out in his wonderful life.
Some of my most notable memories take form as early morning breakfasts. Most days I’d eat a variation of cereal, yogurt, or maybe some fruit. But once in a while, there’d special morning where my Dad cooked up a breakfast. Now, the meal itself had little notability; sometimes there were eggs, sometimes whole-wheat popovers, sometimes toast. What really made those breakfasts special, though, were the stories.
I have lived in East Oakland my whole life. To the majority of people, the mention of East Oakland evokes thoughts of violence, shootings, and gangs. I was one of the people who believed in these stereotypes, and for a particularly long time. I was one of the people who saw Oakland as a wasteland, a place with nothing to offer me, and a place I had nothing to offer to.
The Nightmare on Lenox Street “Come on Fadi, don’t be a chicken, its all fake!” said my friends, insisting I would be okay. It was the beginning of October, and everyone was talking about haunted houses and how much fun they are, so I decided to go to one. I never understood why anyone would pay money to get scared; however, I decided to be spontaneous and try something new. I instantly started to imagine the experience.
I love everything about Halloween... the costumes, the candy and especially the scary stories, one story in particulate gets me its called ''The House on 3rd Street'' Its about a haunted house and a normal family,or they were normal before they moved in,so let me stop and start the story. On November 1,2003 the Jackson's moved in, the family consists of David Jackson,Karen Jackson and the kids, Caden the youngest and only son, Katie the middle child and Amanda the oldest. They really liked the house and they knew about the stories but they didn't care, it had everything they needed.
I'm exploring various areas for retirement, which presently includes Raleigh/Durham, and possibly Asheville, for visits up to six months of the year. Hopefully, I will be lucky to meet acquaintances who are similar in age who are willing to connect without the need for a rushed relationship. I would like to settle down but I am realistic and will admit that I am careful. I am hopeful for a mature commitment in the future. An important aspect is flexibility as my lifestyle involves travel, which is unavoidable.
The House on Greenbrooke Ct. I didn’t always use to live on Greenbrooke Ct. Before that it was Chelsea, and before that it was Mayland Dr. That’s as far as I can remember.
