Personal Narrative-Destructive Gator

My hands bounced off the steering wheel and slapped my eye! I couldn’t think. I could feel my eye swelling, getting larger and larger. Uncontrollable tears poured down my cheeks. Pain surged through my whole face. I had been stung on the eyelid by a bee.

The day a bee stung me in the eyelid was a nice brisk, day filled with a whole cornucopia of fall smells such as freshly cut corn and, brisk country air. My sisters and I had school and came home from school with no homework to complete, boredom filled the room. When my dad came home he asked cheerfully, breaking the silence, if we wanted to go to our grandparent's farm, knowing we had nothing more interesting to do. We agreed immediately with no rejection. We immediately jumped into our grandpa’s gator which has no windshield, eager to start it and take off onto the beaten down trails. My sister started the gator first and the stench of exhaust mixed with the crisp country air. We all flung ourselves into the passenger seat and the back box on the gator, which is green with a few dent in the side with some chipped paint and has no windshield, and finally all ready to to take off to the trails. When my sister took off we went on the most common trail. Then she turned around and it was my turn to drive. I was driving back to the farm when all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain rage through my eyelid. Then I realized a bee had stung me and caused me to swerve off the trail. My eyelid stung sooo bad as uncontrollable tears streamed down my face. My dad took control of the gator and took us back to my grandparent’s. My eyelid started to swell up and I couldn’t open my eye. We left and went home, I realized I’m never going to drive the gator without some sort of safety glasses on, to cover my
