The weekend I had field passes for the Penn State game was a once in a lifetime experience. I had so much fun with my grandparents and my cousins. I could not contain my excitement as we waited for our field passes. I was jittery as a man came up to us and told us to follow him to the field. People with metal detectors stopped us to check us out. Once everyone was through, we continued. I had a huge smile on my face as the man took us through the stadium. I even got to see my favorite players: Saquon Barkley and Chris Godwin. The players ran many drills, and then they stretched. One player even high-fived me! The players marched back into the locker room and the Penn State Blue Band came on. I stood and listened to the crashing of the cymbals and watched the shiny instruments bob back and forth to the beat. When the band was done, the players ran back onto the field. As soon as they stepped out of the tunnel, I could hear the roar of the crowd and saw the gleaming helmets on their heads. After that, we were taken back up to our seats to watch the game. I had the biggest smile on my face as we found our seats. Through lots of hoops and shrieks from the fans Penn State beat Kent State, 13-33. We headed back to the campground with smiles from ear to ear. “What a game!”, we all exclaimed. The day I had field passes for the Penn State game had an effect on my life. It further strengthened my love of football and made me want to go to Penn State even more. That day was magical, and I would love to do it
